Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police located a male in the area of Murray Street in Chatham who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Theft Under $5,000.

The 37-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date of November 26, 2021.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night police responded to a residence on Dundas Street in Wallaceburg for a family dispute.

Upon further investigation a female involved in the dispute was located outside the residence and found to be intoxicated and unable to care for herself.

The 21-year old female was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and was held until sober.

Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning the Walpole Police located a male known to be wanted on a Chatham-Kent Police warrant for Theft Under $5,000, two counts of Possession Under $5,000 and two counts of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

The 32-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and turned over to the Chatham-Kent Police Service.

The male was later released with a future court date.
