Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to a suspicious persons complaint at a business in the area of Queen Street in Chatham.

Police attended and located a man who was known to wanted on an outstanding warrant for domestic related charges.

The 36-year old man was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held for bail.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon police responded to a suspicious persons complaint in the area of Wellington Street East in Chatham.

Police attended and located a male who was found to be highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

The 63-year old man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and was held until sober.

Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night police responded to a residence on Valley Road in Chatham as it was being reported that there was a male there known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Mischief Under $5,000, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Aggravated Assault and Forcible Confinement.

Police attended the residence and located the male.

The 21-year old man was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held for bail.

Female arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning police responded to a residence on Queen Street in Wallaceburg as it was being reported that there was a female there who was unwanted.

Police attended and located the female who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for two counts of Theft Under $5,000 and Unlawfully in a Dwelling.

The 31-year old woman was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.
