baCK Home for the Holidays celebration being held

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent’s Community Attraction and Promotion (CAP) team is hosting the annual ‘baCK to Chatham-Kent’ Home for the Holidays celebration. Mayor Canniff will launch the month-long campaign to honour residents that have moved baCK to Chatham-Kent with a flag raising on Monday, December 6 at 12 p.m. in front of the Civic Centre in Chatham.

“The baCK to Chatham-Kent campaign highlights the many reasons why Chatham-Kent is a great place to live and work. It encourages former residents to move baCK to their roots and build their lives and careers here. As always, we are happy to welcome CK residents baCK home,” said Mayor Canniff, in a media release.

The baCK campaign encourages those originally from the community to consider returning to Chatham-Kent.

The campaign shares stories of those who have chosen to return, their successes, and highlights the lifestyle and employment opportunities available in CK. Follow @LivingCK for month-long baCK stories, holiday events and fun ways to explore CK over the holiday season.

“Every winter holiday, we host the baCK Home for the Holidays campaign to celebrate CK’s young people and all the amazing benefits of LivingCK. This includes showcasing the many employment opportunities to grow your career in CK and ways to get reconnected while you’re home,” said Victoria Bodnar, Community Attraction and Promotion’s Resident Attraction and Retention Coordinator, in a media release.
