Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A man was involved in a disturbance with his mother.

The man had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

The man was on conditions not be at the address on Talbot Trail where the disturbance took place.

The man was released on the current warrant and charged with failing to comply with a release order (X2) with a future court date of February 8, 2022.

Suspicious person leads to charges on St. Clair Street in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A suspicious person was witnessed rummaging through a vehicle on St. Clair Street in Chatham.

Through investigation it was found a man was on conditions not to be in the area or around another person as a result of a previous court release.

The man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a release order and held for a bail hearing.

Call from the community results in impaired driving charges on St. Clair Street in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A vehicle was witnessed driving erratically in a parking lot in a commercial property on St. Clair Street in Chatham.

The driver drove over curbs and then swerving all over the road as it entered the roadway.

A citizen contacted the police and the vehicle was stopped on St. Clair in the area of Darry Line in Chatham.

The woman driving was found to be impaired.

The driver was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters where she registered twice the legal limit.

The woman was charged with Operation while impaired and 80 plus and released with a future court date of February 16, 2022.
