Here are a few tips for storing your chainsaw during the winter months. This will ensure that your equipment, will be ready for action in the spring.
1️⃣ To get the equipment ready for winter, clean it first. The air filter, cylinder fins, spark plugs and the dismantled cutting tool should be checked and cleaned. Metal parts should be slightly lubricated with oil.
2️⃣ The fuel tank should be emptied. Run the carburetor until dry (Do not operate the throttle; run in idle until engine stops)
3️⃣ Store in a dry, dust-free and frost-free place.
