Lambton OPP official allege: The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are advising the public of the closure of Highway 402 westbound at Nauvoo Road. This closure is the result of high traffic volumes due to ‘Freedom Convoy’ demonstrations.
Motorists are encouraged to follow Emergency Detour Route (EDR) signage for an alternate route.
Lambton County OPP have implemented the closure to ensure public safety.
The OPP respects the right of everyone to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.
The OPP asks everyone to be patient and respectful of each other despite potential inconvenience.
