Main COVID-19 vaccine clinic site moving from the Bradley Centre to the former YA building

The main COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Chatham-Kent is set to change locations.

Public health officials say on Wednesday, February 23, CK Public Health will run their final COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic out of the Bradley Centre site before making the move to 730 Richmond Street.

The former YA Canada building will be Chatham-Kent’s main vaccination site moving forward, serving all eligible residents aged 5+ beginning on Thursday, March 3, CK Public Health officials say.

CK Public Health, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and Chatham-Kent EMS, together with their dedicated staff and volunteers, have been operating out of the Bradley Centre site for nearly one full year.

“Our final day at the Bradley Centre Clinic, February 23, will mark exactly one year in operation there,” stated Carina Caryn, CK Public Health Program Manager, in a media release.

“We are very grateful to have had such an ideal location to serve the public out of, and are fortunate to have found a new location just down the road where we can continue to do so.”

1st, 2nd and booster doses will be available to residents aged 18+, while 1st and 2nd doses will be available to those aged 5+.

A parent or guardian must be present for children under 12 years of age.

Walk-Ins are welcome at the clinics, but residents are encouraged to book an appointment in advance at www.GetYourShotCK.ca or by calling 519-351-1010, public health officials added.
