With heavy hearts we announce that our family matriarch Ruth Eleanor Rose was reunited with her beloved husband Bruce Rose (1987) on March 8, 2022 in her 102nd year.
She will be forever remembered by her children Gary Rose (Louise Cyr), Cheryl (Mike) Baxter, Alan (Carrie) Rose and Paul Rose.
Cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 15.
Ruth was predeceased by her sisters Thelma Fox and Phyllis Harrington and by her grandson Kyle Rose.
She was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces, serving as a Corporal in Recruitment during World War II.
Ruth will be missed by the many staff and friends she met during her 9 years at Longworth Retirement Residence especially her friend Joan.
A special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at LHSC–Victoria Hospital for making her final days so comfortable.
Ruth will be laid to rest beside her husband at Riverview Cemetery on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11am.
