Update: The wind warning ended at 1:12 p.m.
A wind warning has been issued across Chatham-Kent, as strong winds are expected this morning.
Environment Canada officials say hazards, include: very strong winds gusting to 90 km/h.
“Southwesterly winds are expected to strengthen to up to 90 km/h this morning with the passage of a cold front,” forecasters say.
“Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.”
