Chatham-Kent OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Chatham Kent detachment has charged two individuals following a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 401 on April 21, 2022.
A 41-year-old Windsor resident has been charged with Careless Driving [Highway Traffic Act 130(1)], while a 55-year-old resident of Elora has been charged with Follow Too Closely [Highway Traffic Act 158(1)].
The collision, involving three transport trucks and two passenger vehicles, forced the closure of the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 from Victoria Road to Kent Bridge Road to facilitate the clean-up.
