Man arrested for aggravated assault

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 3, 2022 police began investigating a physical altercation that occurred between two men on the evening of Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Through investigation police learned one man struck the other man in the face which caused significate injury to his jaw.

On May 4, 2022 at approximately 11:30 a.m. the 19-year-old Thamesville man was arrested for aggravated assault.

He was transported to police headquarters and subsequently released with conditions and a future court date of June 9, 2022.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 4, 2022 a Suzuki King Quad with camouflage design was reported stolen from a storage lot located off York Court in St. Clair Estates in Chatham.
