Maroons Game #6, Poutine Feast taking place at Memorial Arena in Chatham

The Chatham Maroons are playing in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals at 3 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Arena in Chatham with a chance to win the Western championship and advance to the Sutherland Cup.

The Chatham Maroons are up 3 games to 2 against the Leamington Flyers in the best-of-7 series.

“We hope for the very best for the Maroons and that they proceed to the Sutherland Cup,” Municipal officials say.

However, on Saturday, Chatham Memorial Arena is going to be a busy place as Poutine Feast, a new event in Chatham-Kent, will be taking place outside in the arena parking lot.

Those hoping to participate in either event will not need to worry about parking, as there will be plenty of parking spots with the addition of new temporary spots on site, along side streets, and people are permitted to park at the St. Ursula Church parking lot as there is no church service on Saturday.

For those needing spots close to the entrance, there will be some additional spots reserved near the front entrance of the arena for people who are not fully able.

As well as some additional parking on the grass area next to the playground unit that will be marked out on the grass.
