A special weather statement has been issued in Chatham-Kent, as isolated thunderstorms are expected this evening.
Hazards, include: strong wind gusts up to 80 km/h and pea-sized hail.
The timing is from when the statement was issued at 6:36 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022, through this evening.
“Isolated thunderstorms have developed over Lower Michigan and will move into the region this evening,” forecasters say.
“Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports.”
