If opening day is any indication how the 2022 meet is shaping up for Dresden Raceway, it’s going to be a great season.
Dresden’s seven race card saw crowds storm back to the local oval with no restrictions as almost 1,000 people were in attendance on Monday.
“It was amazing to see so many people at the track,” said Gary Patterson, publicist at the track, adding, “it was a fantastic day with a fantastic handle, we are looking forward to the rest of the season.”
Garrett Rooney highlighted the day driving three winners including Littleannieoakley, Darkest Desire and Go Mud.
The track was in great condition as Go Mud and Rooney as well as Uber Hanover with Ryan Desroche both paced in 1:58.2.
Sunday’s seven race handle was $44,963.
Next week the Mark Austin Pacing Series kicks off with 39 eligible horses for the series.
