Man found breaching house arrest
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, just before 6: a.m., an officer on general patrol observed a man on Colborne Street in Chatham.
A query of the male revealed that as per his release conditions, he was to remain inside his residence at all times.
The 36-year-old Chatham man was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man arrested on domestic related charges
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at approximately 11:30 a.m., police responded to an address in Wheatley in regards to a domestic related incident.
As a result of the investigation a 44-year-old Wheatley man was arrested and charged with assault and uttering threats.
The male was transported to CKPS HQ where he was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Warrant arrests
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, just before 1 p.m., police encountered a man on an unrelated incident in the town of Bothwell.
A query of the man revealed he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
A Bothwell man was arrested and later released on an undertaking with a future court date of June 24, 2022.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at approximately 3:30 p.m., police were called to the area of King Street West in regards to two suspicious parties.
Police located two men and as a result of a query, both were found to have outstanding warrants.
The one man was arrested and transported to CKPS HQ where he was held pending a bail hearing.
The second man of Chatham was released on an appearance notice with a future court date of June 28, 2022.
Man arrested for assault
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening at approximately 7:12 p.m. police responded to an address on Talbot Trail in Wheatley in regards to an assault complaint.
As a result of the investigation it was determined that that the accused in the matter had thrown an object at the victim as well as threatened to kill them.
The 32-year-old Muskoka man was arrested and charged with assault and uttering threats.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Robbery in Blenheim
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, just after midnight, police responded to an address on Ellen Steeet in the town of Blenheim in regards to a possible robbery.
The victim in the matter alleges that he had been attacked by three males who then stole his phone.
The victim suffered minor injuries as a result.

Woman arrested in stolen vehicle
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, at approximately 2:a.m. an officer on general patrol observed a white Kia parked at an address on Kent Bridge Road.
The vehicle was confirmed stolen out of the Waterloo region.
As a result of the investigation, 21-year-old Sydney Campeau of Chatham was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
She was also charged with being in possession of a prohibited weapon as the officer located a conductive energy weapon (CEW) on her person.
She was released with a future court date of June 24, 2022.
