Robbery investigation continues

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials allege: On May 28m, just after midnight, police responded to an address on Ellen Street in the town of Blenheim in regards to a possible robbery.

The victim in the matter had been attacked by three males who then stole his phone and as a result suffered minor injuries.

Man arrested with assault

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at 8:43 a.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on Thames Street in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned about a physical altercation between the woman and her boyfriend.

The 19-year-old Chatham man was arrested for one count of assault.

He was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date of July 6, 2022.

Woman arrested for assault and uttering threats

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 29, 2022, at 9:15 a.m., police responded to a family dispute on Taylor Avenue in Chatham.

Upon arrival, police learned the woman had assaulted her mother.

The 26-year-old Chatham-Kent Woman was arrested for one count of uttering threats and two counts of assault.

She was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date of July 6, 2022.

Woman arrested for theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 19, 2022, police began investigating a theft at a business on Winter Line Road in Pain Court.

Through video surveillance, police identified a woman that was involved.

After several attempts to locate the woman, a warrant was issued for her arrest.

On May 29, 2022, at 2:30 p.m., the woman was observed by police driving on Bruce Street in Wallaceburg.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the woman.

The 26-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with one count of theft.

She was released with a future court date of June 29, 2022.

Man arrested for bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 30, 2022, at 3:26 a.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.

Through investigation, police learned the man was on conditions not to associate with the woman.

Police discovered the man had called the woman and said he was attending her home.

Police arrived at the house simultaneously as the man, and he was arrested.

The 27-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with two counts of breaching his release conditions.

He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
