A blood donor clinic is being held in Wallaceburg at the UAW Hall on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“There are approximately 15 appointments available,” Canadian Blood Services officials say.
“There are same-day appointments at many of our mobile events. Donors can book same day by visiting: blood.ca; download: GiveBlood app or Call: 1-888-236-6283.”
Canadian Blood Services officials say June 14 is a “very special day” as it marks World Blood Donor Day.
“National Blood Donor Week starts next week,” officials say.
“It’s a time for us to celebrate the unparalleled generosity of all donors — including financial donors. Financial supporters shine a light on the importance of new blood donors by helping us do even more to recruit the thousands of new donors needed this year alone to help patients.”
