Charles ‘Ken’ Hazzard

Charles Kenneth ‘Ken’ Hazzard went to his heavenly home in his 90th year on June 16th.

He is survived by his beloved wife Laurine Hazzard (nee Theaker), his children Sharron Langeveld (Peter), Joel Hazzard, Karen Hazzard, Ryan Hazzard (Kathryn Johanna), his grandchildren Taylor Hazzard, Victoria ‘Tori’ Farmer (Tyler), Jared, Melia and Marissa Langeveld and Fynn Hazzard.

His brothers Robert (the late Jean), Leroy ‘Butch’ (the late Lila), brother-in-law David Theaker and sisters-in-law Evelyn Theaker and Bernice Theaker as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ken rejoins in heaven his parents Donald and Mary Hazzard, his brothers Jack (Dana), Russell (Margaret) and Richard (Jean), his sister Phyllis Brush (Bernard) and his grandson Alexander Langeveld.

Ken retired in 1992 from Hazzard’s Farm Service and spent his retirement watching his family grow.

He attended soccer, basketball, football and volleyball games, dance recitals and plays as well as graduation ceremonies.

A special thank you to Dr. Naeem and the staff of 3rd floor Rehab unit at CKHA – Chatham Campus for their exceptional care of Ken during the last few days of his life.

Family and Friends are invited for visitation at Bethel Pentecostal Church (35 McNaughton Ave, Wallaceburg) on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

Ken’s Funeral will be held at the church on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:30 with visitation 1 hour prior and followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.

If desired, donations in Ken’s Memory to PAOC ERDO and Mission Fund may be left at the church during visitation or at the funeral home.
