‘Read to Ride’ program launched at the Wallaceburg Library

The ‘Read to Ride’ program has launched at the Wallaceburg Branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.

The program is sponsored by The Wallaceburg Knights of Pythias.

“Children in Grade 2 or ages six to eight will receive one ballot per book read to enter a draw to win one of two bikes and helmets,” library officials say.

“The goal of program is to instill the importance of reading in students early. Contest runs June 25 to September 3.”

The Wallaceburg Branch hours are as follows:

– Monday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

– Tuesday: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

– Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

– Thursday: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

– Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

– Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
