CKRec holding ‘Summer Fest’ free events all summer long

CKRecreation is excited to announce that it will be kicking off a series of free events all summer long.

“Bring your family together for fun, free, community activities,” CKRec officials said in a media release.

Activities include:

Thursday Party in the Park: Join CK Rec and our Community Partners from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for crafts, activities, giveaways, and Play Rangers. Don’t forget the free swim from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to end the night.

– July 21 – Memorial Park, Blenheim

– July 28 – Wallaceburg District Secondary School

– August 4 – Ferguson Park, Thamesville

– August 11 – Kinsmen Park, Dresden

– August 18 – Victoria Park, Bothwell

– August 25 – Kingston Park, Chatham

Friday Movie in the Park: Set up your lawn chairs, blankets and kick back to watch a movie under the stars. Movies start at dusk.

– August 5 – Kiwanis Park, Ridgetown

Saturday and Sunday Beach Days: Join us in Erieau and Mitchell’s Bay 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every weekend and come see all our beach toys, games and giveaways. Or enjoy Play Rangers in Kingston Park, Chatham every weekend.

“Did we mention free swimming all summer long?” CKRec officials say.

“Visit any municipal pool this summer for a free rec swim.”
