Woman arrested for domestic related offences
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 10, 2022, at 2:16 a.m., police began a criminal harassment investigation in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned the woman was harassing the man by constantly calling, following him, and showing up at his apartment.
The woman caused damage to the man’s apartment and threatened to harm him.
The 42-year-old Chatham woman was located and arrested.
She was charged with criminal harassment, mischief and two counts of uttering threats.
She was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date of August 17, 2022.
Police are looking for the public’s assistance
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between June 22, 2022, and July 7, 2022, someone caused extensive damage to the air conditioning unit of The Portuguese Club located on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.
