Karen Lallean

On August 3, 2022 Karen Lallean, a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed away peacefully at her home. She is the daughter of the late Wilfred Norman and Constance Joyce (Wrightman) Lallean.

Beloved sister of the late Jeffrey Lallean (Teresa), the late Timothy Lallean, Arlinda Buckshot (Dominic), the late Kevin Lallean, Patsy Milliken (Garnett), Norma Goudreau (Pierre), Bradley Lallean (Reneé) and her little sister Constance.

She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews as well as her dear friends in Canada and the United States.

For over 20 years Karen was active in Christian Radio, CFRZ 98.3FM known as “Karen in the Morning”.

While in London, she began coaching boxing as a way to help keep kids active and off the street.

Her family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Nurse Kelly and the staff at Bayshore for all their care and support.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 5-8pm and on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 3-5 and 6-8pm.

Community visiting will resume at the Walpole Island Evangelistic Centre, 156 Dan Shab Road, from 12 noon on Sunday, August 7, 2022 until the time of her service at 1pm.
