Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:27 p.m., emergency crews responded to a serious motor vehicle collision on Orford Road just south of Selton Line in Orford Township.
The collision involved a single motorcycle containing a single occupant.
At 10:25 p.m., the driver of the motorcycle was travelling northbound on Orford Road where he left the roadway and struck a large tree.
The driver was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Family members were notified.
The name of the driver is not being released at this time.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Unit is currently investigating the collision.
