Break and enter at Wheatley Arena
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early yesterday morning, officers attended the Wheatley arena in regards to a break and enter. Unknown suspects entered the arena by prying open a door.
It is unknown if anything was taken at this time.

Female arrested for theft
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday an officer on general patrol located a female on Centre Street in Chatham.
Through investigation, it was revealed that the female was wanted for stealing a bicycle from Walmart the week prior.
A Chatham woman was arrested for theft and possession under 5000 and failing to comply with her release order.
She was later released with a future court date of October 17, 2022.
Male arrested on domestic related charges
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, just after 2:30 p.m., officers attended an address on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg in regards to a male party that had a warrant for his arrest.
Officers entered the apartment and began a search for the male.
He was located hiding in a closet, underneath a pile of clothes.
The 32-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm.
He was transported to CKPS HQ and later released with a future court date of October 17, 2022.
Police recover stolen vehicle
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at approximately 2:30 p.m. Police received information that a suspect was in possession of a stolen pickup truck in the Tecumseh Park area.
Officer attended the area and located a stolen Dodge Ram that had been taken from an address on Glenwood Drive last week.
The suspect was not located and there are currently no grounds for charges.
Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between August 13 and August 31 unknown suspects kicked in a door to a vacant residence on Victoria Ave.
Once inside the suspects removed cooper wiring and plumbing.
Also stolen was the washer and dryer. Prior to leaving the suspects left the water running inside, causing $15,000 worth of damage.

Female arrested on warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening at approximately 7:15 p.m. police located a female on Holden Street in Dresden that had an outstanding warrant.
A Dresden woman was arrested and charged with break and enter commit theft and failing to comply with her release order.
She was later released with a future court date of September 29, 2022.
Woman charged with assault
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, just after 6:00 p.m., police responded to an address on George Street in Ridgetown in regards to a neighbor dispute.
Through investigation, it was revealed that a woman had approached a group of people and presented a knife while threatening them.
The woman then began to pick up pieces of asphalt and started throwing them at two separate vehicle.
She then threw another piece at the door of a residence causing damage.
After damaging the vehicles and the residence, the female then approached a victim and head-butted them causing an injury.
The 38-year-old female of Ridgetown was located by police shortly after where she was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault and three counts of mischief.
While at the Police station, during the booking process, the accused spit on an officer and further began to kick them as she was being escorted to her cell.
She was further charged with assaulting a peace officer. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
