Voices in the Wind Audio Theatre is has announced their Winnie-The-Pooh audiobook, read by Barbara Rosenblat and directed by George Zarr, received AudioFile Magazine’s top Award, Earphones Award.
AudioFile awards Earphones to truly exceptional presentations that excel in all the following criteria; Narrative voice and style, Vocal characterizations, Appropriateness for the audio format, and Enhancement of the text.
AudioFile Magazine is the premier publication of the audiobook industry in North America.
“The Award was especially significant as we competed with some of the leading narrators and production companies across North America,” said David Farquhar, the Executive Producer, in a media release.
“Of the ten audiobooks reviewed by AudioFile, it was our version that won the Award.”
Barbara Rosenblat is a multi-award-winning audiobook narrator based in New York City, and George Zarr is an award-winning director and writer based in Chicago.
