Female arrested on outstanding warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night police responded to a family dispute at a residence on McNaughton Avenue in Chatham.
Through investigation one of the parties involved was found to be wanted on two warrants for Failing to Attend Court.
As a result the 36-year old female was arrested on the strength of the warrants, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held for a bail hearing.
Bail violations
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning police received a 911-hang up call in the area of St. Anthony Street in Chatham.
Police attended in the area and located a male and female.
Through investigation the male falsely identified himself to police and was also found to be breaching his release conditions.
As a result the 22-year old male was arrested for 12 counts of Failing to Comply with his Release Order and three counts of Obstruct Police.
The male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and was held for a bail hearing.
Man charged with possession of stolen vehicle
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Thursday night, police responded to a traffic complaint in Chatham.
Through investigation, police located a stolen truck from St. Thomas parked on Grand Avenue East.
A description of the male driver was provided to police and he was located on Delaware Avenue a short time later.
The 26-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with being in possession of property obtained by a crime over $5000.
He was additionally arrested on an outstanding warrant.
He was released pending a future court date of October 24, 2022.
Police investigating suspicious vehicle fire
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Thursday morning around 10:30 a.m. police responded to a vehicle fire at the Tilbury Government Docks on Jeannettes Creek Road.
Police believe the incident is suspicious.

Theft of trailer in Camden Township
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between September 12th and September 15 unknown suspects stole a 2021 grey enclosed trailer full of tools from a property on Wabash Line.
The trailer was last seen with Ontario license plate V53 64A.
Total value of the theft has been estimated at $7,500.

Break and enter in Tilbury
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between September 10 and September 15 unknown suspects entered a garage on Fort Street and stole various DeWalt power tools.
Total value of the theft has been estimated at $2,500.
