Man arrested for intimate partner violence offences

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 7:21 a.m., police responded to Homestead Drive in Tilbury for a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, police learned the man and the woman had engaged in a verbal argument.

The woman left the residence and called the police.

Through investigation, the police learned the man had assaulted the woman on two other occasions.

The 34-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and charged with two counts of assault.

He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a court date of November 14, 2022.

Man arrested for being intoxicated in a public place

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:44 p.m., police responded to Tecumseh Street in Dresden for a man kicking at the door of a residence.

Police arrived and found the man intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

The 20-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held until he was sober.

Man arrest for being intoxicated in a public place

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On October 6, 2022, at 12:57 a.m., police responded to conduct a well-being check on a man lying on the ground on the north side of the Third Street bridge.

Police arrived and found the man intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

The 30-year-old Blenheim man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and transported to police headquarters, where he was held until he was sober.
