Break, enter and theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday officers attended a residence on Glenwood Drive in Chatham with regards to a complaint of a break and enter.

Sometime overnight, unknown suspects found a hidden shed key, entered the shed and stole tools and a leaf blower.

Break, enter and theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday officers attended a residence on Water Street in Blenheim, with regards to a complaint of a break and enter.

Sometime overnight, unknown suspects forced entry into a shed stealing various tools valued at $2,000.

Woman arrested for theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 12:57 p.m. yesterday police responded to a theft at Walmart on St. Clair Street in Chatham. 

Through investigation officers learned that the woman had stolen items from Home Depot, Real Canadian Super Store and Walmart.

She was arrested for the thefts as well as obstruct police as she gave a false name to officers.

The 63-year-old Windsor woman was transported to police headquarters and charged with theft and possession and obstruct police.

She was released with conditions and a future court date of November 21, 2022.
