In conjunction with the Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association, the Wallaceburg Thunderhawks will be hosting a ‘Spirit of Community’ game on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena.
“This event is meant to raise awareness of the impact of the Residential School System within our own and neighbouring communities,” Thunderhawks officials said on social media.
“The Thunderhawks will be wearing custom ‘Spirit of Community’ orange jerseys to commemorate this event.”
Wallaceburg will welcome the Amherstburg Admirals to Wallaceburg for the game.
Surviours get free admission for the game, while people wearing an orange shirt get half off admission.
