The Wallaceburg Tartans boys baseball team captured their second straight LKSSAA crown on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
The Tartans topped Sarnia Northern 7-5 in the championship game.
“Congratulations to the Tartans Baseball Team on your back-to-back LKSSAA championships,” school officials posted on social media.
The Tartans were 4-2 in the regular season.
In the playoffs, Wallaceburg topped St. Patrick’s 5-3 in the quarter-finals and UCC by a score of 7-6 in the semi-finals.
In 2021, the Tartans capped off a perfect season by defeating Great Lakes Secondary School in the LKSSAA final by a score of 5-2.
