OPP officials allege: On November 7, 2022, at approximately 1:37 p.m., an officer with the Chatham Detachment stopped a passenger vehicle travelling on the Westbound Highway 401, Municipality of Chatham-Kent, after it was found speeding 164 Km/h in a posted 100 Km/h zone.
The driver, 26-year-old of Belle River, Ontario was charged with Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – Excessive speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
OPP officials allege: On November 7, 2022, at approximately 11:23 p.m., an officer with the Chatham Detachment stopped a passenger vehicle travelling on Eastbound Highway 401, Municipality of Chatham-Kent, after it was found speeding 177 Km/h in a posted 100 Km/h zone.
The driver, 21-year-old of Chatham, Ontario was charged with Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – Excessive speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
OPP officials allege: On November 8, 2022, at approximately 8:47 a.m., an officer with the Chatham Detachment stopped a passenger vehicle travelling on Northbound on Highway 40, Municipality of Chatham-Kent, after it was found speeding 113 Km/h in a posted 80 Km/h zone.
As a result of the investigation, the driver, 61-year-old of Wallaceburg, Ontario was charged with the following:
– Driving while under suspension
– Drive motor vehicle – no licence
– Speeding 1-49 Km/h over posted limit
– Fail to surrender insurance card
– Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
OPP officials allege: On November 12, 2022, at approximately 9:10 a.m., an officer with the Chatham Detachment stopped a passenger vehicle travelling on Eastbound Highway 401, Municipality of Chatham-Kent, after it was found speeding 157 Km/h in a posted 100 Km/h zone.
The driver, 23-year-old of Windsor, Ontario was charged with Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – Excessive speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
OPP officials allege: On November 12, 2022, at approximately 7:31 p.m., an officer with the Chatham Detachment stopped a passenger vehicle travelling Southbound on Communication Road, Municipality of Chatham-Kent, after it was observed swerving within its lane.
As a result of the investigation, the driver, 35-year-old of Chatham, Ontario was charged with the following:
– Drive motor vehicle – no licence
– Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
– Use plate not authorized for vehicle
