Wallaceburg Councillors holding ‘Coffee Chat’

Wallaceburg Councillors Carmen McGregor and Aaron Hall are inviting the public to join them for a ‘Coffee Chat’ on Friday morning, November 18, 2022.

The two Chatham-Kent Councillors will be at the Tim Horton’s on Dufferein Avenue in Wallaceburg from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The topic of the conversations will be focused on agenda items for the upcoming Chatham-Kent Council meeting, scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2022.

Items on the agenda, which will be the first meeting for the new Chatham-Kent Council, include:

Pickleball Courts Tender, which includes a court for Wallaceburg. 

– A report on a Public Art Policy and Public Art Reserve, including a presentation by Heather Slater, Manager Arts and Culture. 

– A report on an Intercounty Baseball League Team Agreement

– A report on Downtown Wallaceburg and Thamesville Streetlight Replacement Project – Materials Purchase

This meeting will be the first in-person meeting for Chatham-Kent Council since March of 2020.

Council have been meeting virtually since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

McGregor and Hall have both stated previously that they intend on holding similar discussions throughout the term on the Friday’s before Council meetings.
