Free AgriSuite Workshop being held December 7

Farmers, Certified Crop Advisors, and other members of the agricultural community are invited to attend a free AgriSuite Workshop hosted by the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) and Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).

SCRCA officials say AgriSuite is a collection of free web-based decision support tools and calculators developed by OMAFRA that can help to improve productivity and profitability on farm while reducing environmental impact.

“Attendees will learn about the new AgriSuite tools available, the agronomic principles embedded within these tools, and how to use them,” SCRCA officials said in a media release.

“The workshop will also include a practical session where participants will use AgriSuite to develop a Field Management Plan for a field of interest, during which OMAFRA extension specialists will be available to provide assistance and answer questions.”

Certified Crop Advisors can earn up to two CEUs and the workshop is recognized as a Knowledge Sharing Event by the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association for approved Ontario On-Farm Climate Action Fund nitrogen management projects.

This free workshop will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the Warwick Community Centre (7074 Egremont Road, Warwick ON) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by lunch.

Registration is required.
