Mrs. Harriet Marchand, of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 101 years.
Harriet was born in Chatham Township and was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Marshall) Hart.
Beloved wife of the late Frank Marchand.
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bill (the late Peggy) Marchand, Janice (Edwin) Grieve, Scott (Tammy) Marchand, Todd Marchand and the late Rhonda Marchand.
Dear step mother of Jim Mullaly.
Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren and many great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Kind sister of the late Rose, Margaret, Beulah, Mary, Madge, Geraldine, John, Steven and Ray.
Predeceased by a nephew Joe Hart.
Surviving by a niece Rosie (Don) Izzard and many more nieces, nephews, special friends Bethanne Teare and her daughter Sara, J.T., Michelle and Jeff Wesley and their daughter Lindsay Anderson.
Sharron Oliphant and Tom and Evy Trembley, Ruth and David Ball, Beatrice Butler and Karen Butler.
Harriet was a member and past president of the Holy Family CWL.
The family would like to thank the Activities Department at Fairfield Park and all who helped Harriet celebrate all 101 years.
Following her wishes, cremation will take place.
The late Harriet Marchand rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
