The Salvation Army of Chatham-Kent has nearly reached their goal of $500,000 raised for their 2022 Christmas Kettle Campaign.
However, the total has yet to be finalized.
“Due to the weather conditions we have been unable to have our kettles out these last two days of our campaign,” Salvation Army officials said on social media.
“We have also been unable to do a final count of all donations received. We will be providing an updated total next week. To date we are at 97% of our goal, we have raised a total of $484,520. Thank you CK and stay safe.”
