Walpole-Algonac Ferry officials say they will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, until further notice.
“We are short staffed for Captains… due to reasons that will not be discussed,” ferry officials posted on social media on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
“We are in the process of training new Captains, but that takes time and unfortunately, there’s a considerable amount of time before they can be licensed.”
Ferry officials added: “We know the closure is an inconvenience to our customers and we apologize for that, and we appreciate your patience and your continued support.”
