Burton Cummings playing Caesars Windsor on January 20

One of the finest voices in rock music, Burton Cummings makes his way to The Colosseum stage for a legendary performance, Friday, January 20 at 9 p.m.

Few artists have achieved the level of public success and critical acclaim that Burton Cummings has enjoyed over a dazzling 40-year-plus career.

Whether as lead singer and songwriter with The Guess Who or solo, Burton Cummings has amassed more hit records than just about any other Canadian performer in history.

Songs like “These Eyes,” “I Will Play A Rhapsody,” Timeless Love,” and “Break It To Them Gently,” are just a few of an extensive catalogue of hits bearing Burton’s distinctive stamp.

One of the most celebrated rock artists in Canadian music history, Burton Cummings is a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, and Canadian Walk of Fame.

He has amassed 22 SOCAN Awards, several BMI (Broadcast Music Industry) Awards, and the prestigious Governor General’s Performance Arts Award.

With The Guess Who, Cummings earned the first U.S. platinum album by a Canadian artist, and on his own, the first quadruple platinum Canadian-produced album with Dream of a Child.

A consummate artist, performer, and professional, Burton possesses an extraordinary gift for entertaining.

As a concert draw, he is second to none, consistently delighting audiences across the United States and Canada with hits that defined a generation.

Capturing the magic of his live performances, in 2012 Burton released his first live solo album, Massey Hall, recorded at the famed hall in Toronto.

The record features some of Burton’s biggest tracks from his The Guess Who and solo career.

Never content to rest on his extraordinary accomplishments, Burton Cummings continues to write, record, and perform.

“Not all artists are lucky enough to have that kind of staying power,” he admits.

“It’s pretty amazing.”

Described as Canadian rock ‘n’ roll royalty, a national treasure, and a living legend, Burton Cummings still remains at the top of his game.
