Police: Solar lights stolen in Chatham, assault

Break and enter in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On January 22, 2022 around 4 a.m. unknown suspects attended a St. Clair St. address and forced their way into the garage, stealing 10 boxes of solar lights valued around $1,500.

Man arrested for domestic assault

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On January 23 around 1 am.., police responded to a domestic disturbance call in Chatham.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested a 46-year-old male on two counts of domestic assault.

He was released from custody on an Undertaking with a future court date.
