Tom and Al’s donates new fridge to James Street Drop-In Centre in Wallaceburg

A Wallaceburg business has stepped up to assist the James Street Drop-In Centre.

Tom and Al’s Furniture recently donated a new refrigerator to the James Street Drop-In Centre.

“ROCK Missions and the James Street Drop-In Centre want to give a big thanks to Tom and Al’s Furniture,” officials with ROCK Missions said on social media.

“The centre recently lost one of our fridges and was in desperate of extra fridge space to continue our work, particularly for our outreach services. Thank you Tom and Al’s for supporting ROCK Missions and the Wallaceburg James Street Centre.”

The business said they were happy to lend a helping hand.

“Thank you ROCK Missions for the kind words,” Tom and Al’s officials said on social media.

“We were happy to help. We live in a great community full of so much support.”

The James Street Drop-In Centre is open daily from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Centre officials say their location at 719 James Street in downtown Wallaceburg offers soup, snacks, coffee and tea and is COVID-19 safe.
