James Herman Sheeler, a life long resident of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Fairfield Park, with family by his side.
Born in West Lorne 91 years ago. Son of the late Jack and Matilda Sheeler.
Husband of the late Shirley Sheeler (nee Furtah) 1990.
Survived by long time partner of 30 years Shirley Ross.
Father of the late Debbie Carroll (2014) and Cheryl Sheeler.
Grandfather of Grant Shipley and Kate Selbie (Andrew).
Also survived by 2 great grandchildren and brothers Brian and Phil Sheeler.
Predeceased by siblings Linda, John, Syd and Jean Sheeler.
Jim worked for over 30 years at Eaton Yale in Wallaceburg.
He also loved going dancing with his longtime companion Shirley.
A private family graveside service will take place in the spring at Riverview Cemetery.
