With the heaviest hearts we announce that our beloved mama and nana Bonnie Chatel (nee Armstrong) was reunited with her treasured husband Robert Chatel (2016) on Friday, February 17, 2023 at the age of 80.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Aimee Saunders (Jeff Helps), Laurie (Mike) Goetz, Dee Chatel and by her grandchildren Brianna, Joshua (Meredith), Denver, Nicholas, Mike, Jessica and Gavin. Bonnie is the daughter of the late Clifford and Nellie (nee McRae) Armstrong and dear sister of Terry (Sandy) Armstrong and Don Armstrong (Nancy) (the late Connie) as well as a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews and a loving sister-in-law.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home (409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, 519-627-3231) on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 1pm in the funeral home chapel.
She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Riverview Cemetery.
