Festival Director discusses the 2023 Revelree Music Festival, coming to Sarnia July 21-22

The Revelree Music Festival is returning on Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22, 2023, inside Canatara Park in Sarnia.

Dana Haggith caught up with Festival Director Scott Palko to discuss the 2023 edition of the festival, which features the best of Canadian talent taking the stage over two evenings.

Listen to the interview, below:

The event offers a mix of musical genres for all music fans, headlined by some of Canada’s biggest acts on Friday and Saturday.

Friday night’s lineup begins with local acts Little White Lies and Gypsy Flats, followed by Kitchener/Waterloo pop/alt-rockers Living Room For Small. The second half of the evening puts the spotlight on breakout star and 2023 Juno Nominee for Contemporary Indigenous Artist/Group of the Year, Aysanabee.

Following Aysanabee is five-time Juno award winner and electropop sensation Lights, with five-time Group of the Year Juno award winners, Arkells, closing out the first night.

The festival continues on Saturday with another stellar list of performers, beginning with local duo Brothers Wilde, followed by up-and-comer Courtney Wolfe, and Sarnia’s own Born Riot.

The latter half of the night puts the focus on some of the biggest names in Canadian music.

Rocker JJ Wilde, Juno award winner for Rock Album of the Year, will perform ahead of Canadian musical legend and eight-time Juno award winner Tom Cochrane, before Kingston favourites and two-time Rock Album of the Year Juno award winners, The Glorious Sons, wrap up the festival.

“We are thrilled about the lineup for our second year,” Palko added.

“To have so many talented and decorated artists take the stage over two days is something we are very excited to offer Sarnia-Lambton residents and visitors to our region. As a festival, we are committed to putting as many great performers on stage as we possibly can in a weekend. We want people to be excited for our headliners, but we also want attendees to take in all performances because there is a lot of amazing talent in Canada, and we are very fortunate to gather a number of them for the festival this year.”

The Revelree Music Festival is an all-ages event.

General Admission tickets are $95 for a single day or $165 for a Weekend Pass, and VIP Tickets are $135 for a single day or $245 for a Weekend Pass.
