Faye Stokes of Dover Centre passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens on Feb 26, 2023 with family by her side.
She will be missed by her daughter Joy & Charles Watson and their daughters Heather and Beth Watson and Beth’s husband Matt Conlin.
Son, Jeff and Tamara Stokes and their children Holly, Eve and Matthew Stokes.
Pre-deceased by Ross Stokes, her husband of 52 years in 2008.
She was born in Charing Cross in 1932 to Wilaferd and Pearl (Bennett) Russell.
Faye was the last of the siblings. Carl Russell, Lorne & Irma Russell, Flossie & John Smith, Wilda and Warren Jenner, Dena & Percy Drewery.
Sister in law of Ruth & Jim Wood, Grace (of Riverview Gardens) and Bob Lundy, Lyla and Tom Richardson, Grant & Joan Stokes, June & Clifford Civalier and Irene and Valere Vannieuwenhuyze.
She moved from her farm home in Dover Centre to Grand Retirement before going to Riverview Gardens.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Faye’s life in June will be announced at a later date.
The Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
