With heavy hearts we announce that Peter Dale Walker passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband for 64 years to Rita (nee Boudreau).
Dearest father to Jeff Walker (Melissa), Darren Walker (Nola), Gail McCafferty (Ryan) and cherished grandpa to Nicholas, Elisabeth, Everett, Travis, Kyle and Jack.
Peter was the last remaining member of the Walker family and will now be joining his parents Marshall and Greta Walker and his siblings, Laverne Walker, Glen (Helen) Walker, Basil (Loretta) Walker, Lyle Walker, Ann Walker and Betty (Gerry) Boudreau.
He will be remembered by his sister-in-law Anita Walker as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10am until the time of his service at 12noon.
Peter will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery following the service.
