Service Canada virtual info session for seniors being hosted by the Chatham-Kent Public Library

Chatham-Kent Public Library (CKPL) is partnering with Service Canada to provide an overview of Service Canada programs and services for seniors.

This virtual information session will take place on Thursday, April 6 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“Join us in person or over Zoom,” library officials say.

“This session will be shown live at CKPL’s Blenheim, Chatham, Dresden, Ridgetown and Wallaceburg Branches. During this information session a Service Canada representative will provide information about Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, and Canada Pension Plan (among other services dedicated to Canadian seniors). Learn about eligibility criteria, how to apply, and how to calculate your payment. Participants will also be able to ask questions.”
