Patricia Brett, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 86.
It is with great joy that we celebrate Pat’s returning to her Heavenly Father after completing her stay on Earth.
Pat will be joining her father and mother, James and Alice Brett, and many of her furry friends.
Pat was born in Oakville and attended school there. Later in life, Pat worked in the court system in Detroit and then retired to Wallaceburg for the past 21 years.
In her retirement, Pat volunteered for the hospital in Wallaceburg and at St. James Anglican Church where she was a faithful member.
Pat would love to say a big thank you to the staff at Wallaceburg Retirement Living for a their great care.
Also, a special thank you to the Nurses and Doctors at the Wallaceburg Hospital for your kindness and care in her last days.
In closing, I truly want to thank all my friends who have helped to make my life so full. Thanks for the laughter, the memories and also the shopping!

Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. with the service immediately following visitation at 4 p.m., all from the Chapel of the funeral home.
Interment of ashes will take place in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to London Health Science Centre, Pet & Animal Wildlife Rescue or C.K.H.A. Wallaceburg Auxiliary may be left at the funeral home.
