Bail violation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 16, 2023, members of the Chatham-Kent Police investigated a bail violation.

A female was previously released from police custody on a Form 10 Undertaking with conditions not to communicate with an individual.

As a result of a breach, a 43-year-old Chatham women was arrested for two counts of failing to her comply with her
undertaking.

The female was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Bail violation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 16, 2023, the Chatham-Kent Police responded to a suspicious vehicle on St. Clair Street in Chatham.

Police were told that two female parties were within the vehicle and appeared unresponsive.

Upon police arrival, the driver of the vehicle fled from police.

Through further investigation, a 25-year-old Chatham women was located a short distance away and subsequently arrested by police for two counts of failing to comply with her release order.

Search incident to arrest the female was found to be in possession of CDSA.

As a result, the female was additional charged with two counts of possession of a schedule one substance.

The female was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: While on general patrol, the Chatham-Kent Police located a 33-year-old Chatham male in the area of Raleigh Township.

Through investigation the male was found to be subject of an endorsed warrant for Mischief Under $5,000.

The male was released on a Form 9 with a future court date.
