Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 18, 2023, police attended to an address in Wallaceburg for a report of a break and enter.

Through investigation police learned the incident occurred sometime over the course of the previous seven days and unknown individuals made entry into the home through the boarded-up windows.

When inside the home the individuals caused damage while inside.

Assault

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 18, 2023, as a result of an ongoing investigation involving, two individuals were arrested for assault causing bodily harm against another party.

The two individuals were released on a Form 10 pending a future court date.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 18, 2023, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a break and enter at a business in Chatham.

Upon police arrival it was identified that unknown suspects broke the glass door and window to the business.

As a result, caused approximately $3,000 damage.

Mischief and assault

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 18, 2023, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to local Motel in relation to a disturbance inside.

It was learned that an intoxicated party had caused damage to property and assaulted an individual with a weapon.

The individual was subsequently arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where they were released on a form 10 with a future court date

Woman arrested for breaching release conditions

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 17, 2023, at approximately 5 p.m., a woman who was wanted for failing to comply with her release conditions attended the Chatham-Kent Police Station to speak with police.

The woman was notified of her warrant and was subsequently arrested.

The woman was later released with a future court date.
