With heavy but peaceful hearts, we announce that Bernadette ‘Bunny’ Dorothy Gagnier (nee Bulley) was reunited with her beloved husband Walter and daughter Carol Cogghe on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the age of 90.
Family was a very important part of Bunny’s life and her presence will be forever missed by her loving children Cathy Lucier, Jean Knight (Jerry), David Gagnier (Cherie), her cherished grandchildren Brad, Amy, Caitlin, Jason, Chad, Marcie, Eric, Mitchell, Haley and great grandchildren Alyssa, Chloe, Cory, Owen, Brooklyn, Grayden, Rivia, Calliegh, Colton, Myla and Beckett.
Bernadette was the last remaining child of the late Alfred and Rosina Bulley and will now join her dear brothers and sisters.
There was never a selfish bone in her body, which was evident with the many years she worked at LaPointe Fisher Nursing Home, volunteering for the breakfast club at the schools and being a long-time member of the CWL.
Many will remember Bunny’s joy of playing cards, especially a good game of euchre.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231) on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
Her Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11am with burial following at Riverview Cemetery.
