TekSavvy naming rights initiative sparks further opportunities

The recent success of the Naming Rights Initiative with TekSavvy for the Third and Fifth Street bridges has inspired the Mayor of Chatham-Kent to capitalize on further collaborative sponsorship opportunities.

Mayor Darrin Canniff believes the recent initiative with TekSavvy has set a precedent for future collaborations with local businesses.

By offering sponsorship opportunities, the Municipality can provide businesses with the chance to increase their visibility and brand recognition in the community, while contributing to the improvement of public spaces and infrastructure.

“TekSavvy is excited to partner with Chatham-Kent on the 3rd and 5th Street bridge projects,” said Pierre Aube, COO of TekSavvy, in a press release.

“Chatham-Kent is our headquarters and home to many of our employees and loyal customers. This opportunity to support the continued development of the Municipality is very important and resonates very close to home for TekSavvy.”

“We are thrilled with the success of this initiative with TekSavvy and want to build on that success by offering other businesses similar opportunities to invest in our community,” said Mayor Darrin Canniff, in a media release.

“These types of opportunities are highly beneficial to creating and maintaining vibrant public spaces, and we believe our sponsorship program will provide a win-win situation for both the businesses and the community.”

The sponsorship opportunities will focus on various public spaces and infrastructure projects across the Municipality, such as parks, community centers, and public buildings, Municipal officials say.

The Municipality will work with interested businesses to customize sponsorship packages that meet their needs and budget.

“We understand each business is unique, and we are committed to working with them to create a sponsorship package is tailored to their specific goals and objectives,” added Mayor Canniff.

“We believe this initiative will provide businesses an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to our community and showcase their brand to a wider audience.”

The Municipality is currently seeking expressions of interest from local businesses interested in participating in the sponsorship program.
